Rock Hill SC has a great many parks. They range from walking trails to gardens to sport area and centers with classrooms. Here is a list of the most popular Rock Hill South Carolina parks.

Cherry Park, 1466 Cherry Road, 803-329-5672
Cherry Park is the main park in Rock Hill SC. It covers 68 acres with a 1.5 mile paved and lighted walk/bike path and has a softball/baseball complex that has been used for many tournaments. There are also fields that can be used for football or soccer, or even for concerts and other outdoor entertainment. There is a picnic area with a playground and restrooms nearby, and a covered lodge that can be rented out for events.

Ebenezer Park, 4490 Boatshore Rd, 803-366-6620
Ebenezer Park is a combination park and RV campground. There are full facilities for RVs, as well as campsites for tents. It sits on one of Lake Wylie’s boat launches, and has a beach front playground and picnic shelter.

Glencairn Garden, 725 Crest Street, 803-329-5620
Glencairn Garden sits on 11 acres and has walking trails all around the beautiful gardens showing off the tiered fountain and the Japanese bridge. There are benches scattered throughout the park, and convenient restrooms.

Huckle Grove, 103 Black Street, 803-329-5620
Huckle Grove is a 1 acre park with a walking trail through the historic trees. Benches are placed so you can rest and admire the variety of perennials and annuals throughout the park.

River Park is 70 environmentally sensitive acres next to the Catawba River. There are 3 ½ miles of handicapped accessible trails, including a river trail, wetlands trail and waterford trail. There is a kayak/canoe launch for those who want to enjoy boating on the river. There is a picnic area, an outdoor classroom, an outdoor shelter and restrooms for your convenience.

Boyd Hill Recreation Center, 1165 Constitution Blvd, 803-329-5652
Boyd Hill Recreation Center has over 20 acres with an outdoor pool, an 18 hole disc golf course, a boccie area, 2 playgrounds, 3 picnic shelters, basketball courts, a ball field, horseshoe courts, and a nature area near the creek. The center holds a variety of classes, has a gym with indoor walking, a conference room, and an activity/game room. There are also senior programs, and a special needs day camp during the summer.

Emmet Scott Recreation Center, 801 Crawford Road, 803-329-5661
Emmet Scott Recreation Center sits on 10.3 acres and has a walking trail, outdoor basketball courts, an outdoor pool with handicapped access, a multipurpose field, a picnic shelter, a tot lot and McGirt Auditorium. Inside the center there is a gym, a community room, craft room, classroom, game room, a boxing club, and they hold a variety of classes.

Fewell Park Recreation Center, 1204 Alexander Road, 803-329-5645
Fewell Park Recreation Center is on 10.2 acres with a par 3 disc golf course, a nature trail, a picnic area with a large shelter, playground/tot lot, 2 lighted tennis courts, and a multipurpose field. During mid-October, they have the Firelight Fright Taletelling Festival. Inside the center they have art classes, after school programs, and specialty camps during the summer.

Confederate Park, 490 N. Confederate Avenue, 803-329-5620
Confederate Park is sited on 10.5 acres with youth softball/baseball fields, tennis and basketball courts, a picnic area, a covered shelter, playground, an amphitheater, and restrooms.

Hargett Park, 1240 Deas Street, 803-329-5620
Hargett Park is on 19.7 acres close to Cherry Park. There is a walking trail, picnic area, playground, restroom, a batting practice tunnel and a courtyard. In addition there is a multipurpose field, and softball/baseball fields that serve to handle the overflow of games during tournaments at Cherry Park.

Manchester Meadows, 337 E. Mt. Gallant Road, 803-326-3792
Manchester Meadows is the newest of Rock Hill’s parks. There are 70 acres with over a mile of lighted, paved walk/bike trails, including a wetlands trail. There are 8 lighted soccer fields, 2 with synthetic turf, and 6 with natural grass. There are restrooms and a meeting room available. They also have a playground, a picnic area, and a lake pavilion for events.

Rock Hill Tennis Center, 897 Maplewood Lane, 803-326-3842
Rock Hill Tennis Center is the only one of Rock Hill’s parks to require a membership, or pay a fee to use their facilities. There are 8 regulation courts, a championship court with stadium seating, a pro shop, and restrooms with a changing area.

Terry Complex, University Lake Drive, 803-329-5620
Terry Complex is part of Winthrop University, but is available to the public during the many tournaments held in the area. There are 12 acres with 3 lighted softball fields, and restrooms.

York County Museum has a small park behind it with a ¾ mile nature trail and a picnic area.

Northside Recreation Center, 900 Annafrel Street, 803-329-5633
Northside Recreation Center sits on 5.5 acres and has a connecting trail to the Northside Greenway. There is an outdoor pool, playground, 2 picnic shelters and a multipurpose field. Inside the recreation center there is a gym, an indoor climbing wall, game room, meeting room, community room and craft room. There are a variety of classes available including ceramics and aerobics.
